Website User Testing

Project background

Challenge: With multiple indications along with media drivers that may span multiple indications, there was an opportunity to revisit IMFINZIhcp.com to highlight the entire IMFINZI portfolio while simplifying content for each indication.

Conducting website user testing will allow IMFINZI to gain insight into how a health care professional may navigate and perceive the new approach that AstraZeneca’s brand marketing team is considering for IMFINZIhcp.com

Objective: Gain insight into how a healthcare professional will navigate and perceive the new approach for IMFINZIhcp.com

Leading up to user testing:

  1. Conducted an Audit & Website POV

    I provided a POV where I audited multi-indication websites to assess navigation and overview of site organization. This helped inform the 3 wireframe approaches I created for the website redesign proposal.

  2. Aligned on an approach and user testing vendor

    Upon sharing the wireframe recommendations on how to best streamline IMFINZIhcp.com and aligning on the best path forward, I worked with a team of UX designers and account services to interview several website user testing and recruitment vendors, ultimately moving forward with Userlytics.

  3. Designed a prototype and discussion guide for user testing

A mobile and desktop prototype was designed based on the aligned wireframe approach. This prototype will be shown to HCPs during the remote user testing as we asked them to complete tasks in order to gain insight into how a healthcare professional will navigate and perceive the new approach from IMFINZIhcp.com. I also worked with a team of UX designers along with the AstraZeneca client to develop a discussion guide that was used for testing.

User Testing Considerations

  • User testing will be remote and moderated

  • About 10-20 HCPs will be taken through tasks from a Discussion Guide to gain insight into the proposed IMFINZIhcp.com navigation and the new approach

  • HCPs will have ~5 minutes per task

  • The research process will be designed to benchmark the usability of the current site, identify any challenges and to validate the proposed redesign

  • User testing will be mobile first as most of the website traffic has been through mobile
